the gently tapering baluster body rising from a recessed base to a tall waisted flaring neck with straight gilt rim, brightly decorated around the exterior with coiled dragons amidst lotus scroll reserved on a turquoise ground

Acquired circa 1970, and thence by descent.

Condition

This vase is in good condition, but there is a 7mm dent to the foot of the vase to one side. There are minor nicks to the rim and to the foot and some rubbing of the gilding to the underside of the foot. There is also a very shallow minor chip to the central area of the vase to one side (4mm by 2mm).
