the deity seated in lalitasana, draped in long flowing robes falling in folds around the bare left foot, the shawl loosely tied at the front revealing a beaded pendant on the bare chest, the right hand resting on the raised right knee, the left holding a scroll, the head slightly turned to the side with heavily lidded eyes and serene expression, the hair combed back into long knotted plaits falling down over the shoulders

Condition

There is a 3cm by 8mm area of the robe at the front that has been re-stuck and a 1cm by 3mm polished out chip to the right hand hem of the robe below the neck. There are a number of firing cracks running through the base up the interior of the figure.
