Description

  • silver, coral, hardstones, turquoise
the baluster-shaped body chased with scrolling lotus and embellished with coral, turquoise and hardstones, inlaid to one side with a jade plaque carved in relief with chilong and lingzhi, the shoulder with a band of lappets rising to a waisted neck and wide spout similarly decorated with lotus, linked to the body with an elaborate dragon handle, all raised on a high pedestal foot further decorated with lotus and a band of lappets

Condition

There is a 2.5cm section of soldered repair to the lower back part of the body above the foot and a small piece of semi-precious stone inlay missing above this. There are some minor nicks and scratches to the surfaces throughout.
