the ovoid body rising from a recessed base to a short waisted neck with everted rim, moulded and painted in rich cobalt-blue tones around the exterior with two large rectangular panels enclosing landscape scenes, divided by a pair of similar smaller panels and all reserved on a fish-roe ground scattered with bats, flowers and butterflies

Condition

The vase is in very good condition with the exception of minor glaze firing imperfections and surface scratches.
