the rounded sides rising to a short waisted neck, painted with a continuous scene of officials with attendants in a garden, in a mountainous river landscape with retreats, bordered with swirling clouds, below a band of ascending leaves at the neck, European gilt-wood stand 

Condition

The jar is in good condition overall, with the exception of four sets of hairline star cracks to the interior and considerable firing imperfections, including a firing line along the luting, extensive rim fritting, and pinpricks and short firing cracks to the interior.
