the gently rounded sides rising from a straight foot, the exterior painted in underglaze blue with a continuous scene of mandarin ducks swimming in a pond with lotus, and a bird in flight above, the recessed base inscribed with a six-character mark within double circles

Condition

The bowl is slightly warped. There is a hairline rim crack running approx. 8cm down the interior and 3cm on the exterior. Apart from other minor glaze firing imperfections such as iron spots, burst glaze bubbles etc., the bowl is in good condition.
