of pear shape, painted with birds perched upon flowering branches issuing from rockwork, the neck with peach and magnolia sprays, all reserved against an iron-red diaper ground

Acquired in 2001.

Condition

The painting is slightly blurred. There are kiln grits on the base and other minor glaze firing imperfections. There is a 6cm faint hairline crack running through the footrim and up the side of the vase.
