Description

the deep rounded sides rising from a short tapered foot, applied to the exterior with a rich copper-red glaze, the white base inscribed with a six-character reign mark within a double-circle

Condition

The bowl is slightly deformed and the rim warped. There are very minor frits to the rim and general surface wear. There is an area of glaze inconsistency to around 1/3 of the rim. The colour is of a slightly brighter tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
