- IVORY
of rectangular form, carved with a meiren dressed in flowing robes seated on a terrace below a flowering magnolia tree tending to an orchid plant, the reverse with a poetic inscription in running script taken from the poem Ji Yuan (Sent to Distant Place) by Liu Cang, with two seal marks, wood stand
Condition
There is minor restoration to the top right and left corners of this screen. Otherwise its condition is good with some general age cracks throughout, with one crack splitting to the lower left section (7cm long)
