the slightly rounded flaring sides rising from a short straight foot to an everted rim, freely carved to the interior with a leafy floral scroll and covered overall in an olive-green glaze

Collection of George Harwood, London, 1920/30s.

Condition

There are two rim hairline cracks, one measuring 0.5cm and another 0.7cm which extends from a glaze crack. The rim has a 1.3cm wide glaze pool just under the rim.There is light crazing to the glaze and minor glaze firing imperfections. The colour is of a slightly more yellowish celadon tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
