the compressed globular body rising to a short waisted neck, moulded with two bands of floral sprays divided by raised fillets, surmounted by a domed cover in the form of a lotus leaf, covered overall in a transparent bluish glaze

Condition
The jar and cover are in good condition with the exception of a 1cm., shallow flake to the footring, two further minor flakes to the footring, tiny nibbles to the rim and several small frits and chips encircling the edge of the cover.
