Description

  • stoneware
the tapering ovoid body rising to a waisted neck and everted rim, freely carved to the exterior with an undulating floral scroll between lappet bands, covered overall in a translucent olive-green glaze stopping just above the foot revealing the grey buff body

Condition

The meiping has two restored flakes to the underside of the rim (1.5 and 1cm., wide), glaze flaking to a 1.5cm., triangular section on the side of the body and around the bottom edge of the body, minor glaze firing imperfections and glaze crazing.
