Description

  • stoneware
of conical form, the steep sides rising from a straight foot to an incurved rim, covered overall in a pale lavender-blue glaze thinning to a mushroom tone at the rim, the foot unglazed revealing the buff-coloured body

Blitz Oriental Art, Amsterdam.

Condition

The bowl is in good condition with the exception of a circa 3cm., hairline firing crack to the rim, and minor glaze firing imperfections including iron spots and glaze pulls.
