the baluster body rising from a recessed base to rounded shoulders, surmounted by a tall waisted neck with everted rim, brightly enamelled with a continuous landscape scene below scrolling clouds, depicting an official paying tribute to a retreated scholar, accompanied by attendants and military figures, the neck with stylised shou characters below a yellow and green ruyi band

Condition

The vase is in good condition with the exception of a star hairline at the footring, surface wear and glaze firing imperfections.
