each baluster body rising from a spreading recessed foot to a ribbed waisted neck and everted rim, brightly enamelled around the exterior with beautiful maidens engaged in leisurely pursuits within a pavilion and garden, all below a diaper band at the collar and butterflies and flower sprays at the neck

Acquired in 1955.
Condition
Both vases are in very good condition, with the exception of surface scratches and glaze firing imperfections. Both vases with some small enamel flakes, particularly to the blue enamels on one vase.
