the cylindrical body rising from a recessed flat base to a rolled rim, painted around the exterior with two rectangular panels, one enclosing a bird perched on a blossoming bough, the other with insects above a flowering bough

Condition

There is a three-point star hairline to the exterior near the bird, the longest branch measuring approx. 1.3cm. There are traces of repainting to the blue bud on the other panel. Other minor glaze firing imperfections.
