Description
- PORCELAIN
the gently rounded sides rising from a short straight foot, the exterior painted with a continuous scene of mandarin ducks swimming between clusters of lotus, and others in flight above, all between double line borders around the rim and foot, the interior centred with a medallion enclosing a similar scene, the recessed base inscribed with a six-character mark within double circles in underglaze blue

Condition
There is fritting all around the rim with associated discolouration. The is misfiring to one aubergine enamelled lotus on the exterior under the rim, and another area under the rim with tiny scattered iron spots.
