Description

  • porcelain
each with deep rounded sides rising from a short foot to a gently everted rim, the exterior densely decorated in the famille-rose palette with multi-coloured flowering and budding stylised blooms, including lotus, lily and finger-citron blossoms, all wreathed by curling foliate scrolls and against a bright lemon-yellow ground, the white interior decorated in iron red with five bats, the base inscribed with an underglaze-blue six-character seal mark

Condition

The overall condition of the pair is very good. There are some air bubbles to the enamels, especially to the blue of one bowl, as well as occasional insignificant surface scratches.
