modelled after Song dynasty prototypes, the circular vessel potted with deep rounded sides, one side of the rim with a handle in the form of a wide lobed flange, applied unctuously overall save for the three spur marks on the rounded base with a rich and opaque 'sky-blue' glaze of lavender-blue and cobalt-blue tones, wood stand

The washer is in overall good condition with only some minor surface wear and insignificant losses to the crackled glaze.
