the translucent white stone well worked with a tapered body rising to a broad shoulder, surmounted by a waisted neck and flared square-cut mouthrim, all supported on a flared foot, the neck flanked by a pair of loop handles in the form of a dragon's head suspending a loose ring, the cover with sloping sides rising to a flat top surmounted by an openwork finial worked as a coiled dragon rendered with a sinuous scaly body and a ferocious expression
