the shallow rounded dish decorated in underglaze blue of deep violet tone with a single lotus bloom enclosed by scrolling fleshy stems radiating to the double-line border repeated around the rim, the underside with six evenly spaced lotus issuing from an undulating stem, the lightly convex base inscribed with four characters shangpin jiaqi ('high quality fine object') within a double-circle

Condition

The dish is in fine condition with typical fritting along the exterior of the foot.
