of ovoid form with a flat incurved rim, moulded in relief with a pair of animal-head handles suspending mock rings with horizontal rows of bosses encircling the shoulders and base, covered in an even glaze of bluish-green tone continuing over the flat rim and falling short of the footring, the countersunk base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark

Condition

The vase is in overall good condition with surface wear to the mouth, foot and the tips of the raised bosses as well as the nose of the mythical beast masks.
