Many chairs appear to retain their original surface. Group composed of a set of six chairs, one pair of chairs and two single chairs.

Descended from the Robert Vanderbilt family, Long Island, New York.

Condition

Feet with abrasions commensurate with age and use. Knees on several chairs abraded, but not significantly. Chairs retain a rich and historic condition. Several chairs experienced squirrel chews that have been treated. Very rare to find such a large assembled, nearly identical set of chairs together.
