worked in silk on a white silk ground, with painted and gilded flowers in a ceramic bough pot; with the original églomisé mat, signed by Hannah C. Foster.  The original gilt frame is labeled James Todd of Portland, Maine.

Silk stitches are faded, retains original frame and glass.
