the first a Knights of Pythias badge in the form of a fan, engraved with a hot air balloon, the date 1885, and initials K.O.P., by Maurice Scooler, New Orleans, LA; the second an Odd Fellows badge, with a bird applied to a star within a circle engraved No. 57 and hung from a ribbon engraved Mary E. Howe, by William H. Horstmann Co., Philadelphia, circa 1895

Condition

the first lacking hinge pin, the second with some messy solder where bird applied and with plating rubbed on the three ring connector
