cartouche form, chased with a voluptuous Diana within rocaille shells and an Apollo mask, the sides with shaped running panels of animals

Condition
overall good condition but small join marks aroudn rim of lid panel, wear to protuding surfaces ; minor dent to back of base - more visible on interior.
