Description

  • 34.3cm.,13 1/2 in. high
knopped baluster form with acanthus embellished stems, the nozzles, girdles and bases with lobed acanthus borders, loaded, detachable nozzles, the stems engraved with a crest below a baron's coronet

Condition

Hallmarks slightly rubbed but legible to rim of base. Engraved scratch weights '18:3, 17:19, 17:13 & 20:10' Three missing green baize undersides. The wear is generally commensurate with age and with loaded candlesticks of this type; some slight chewing to edges of base and areas of light pitting. Generally good overall.
