Description

knopped baluster form with acanthus embellished stems, the nozzles, girdles and bases with lobed acanthus borders, loaded, detachable nozzles, engraved with a crest below a baron's coronet

Condition

Clear marks to rims of bases and part marks to nozzles. Incuse stamped scratch weights '13:5' and '13:3'. The silver in good condition for age with light surface wear. One wooden base with a few chips to the underside.

The crest is that of Ogilvy
