modelled by J. J. Kändler, each piece applied in high relief with branches of fruiting vine and painted with scattered insects, the centre of the stand and the interior of the cover painted in purple-camaïeu with courting couples beside a tree within foliate gilt frames, the finial of the cover moulded as a bust of Minerva, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue,

Condition
Each piece with minor typical losses to the applied branches and grapes. The top of Minerva's helmet is lacking.Some overall minor wear to the gilding.
