- Porcelain
- the box and cover 19.1cm., 7 1/2 in. high
each finely painted with scattered sprays and sprigs, comprising a large box and cover, a peach shaped box and cover, and an écuelle and cover, together with a small Meissen ornithological teapot and cover, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, with additional star to teapot, impressed numeral 3 to ecuelle,
Condition
the large jar and cover, there is a hairline crack which runs around the join of the foot and the base of the jar, flat chip to rim of jar, some glaze flaking on the handle of cover;
the peach shaped box and cover, minute rim chip to cover, the handle of the cover has been repaired;
the écuelle, there is a faint hairline body crack to the cover, some typical gilding loss to top edge of rim of base;
the teapot has a small flat chip to rim of spout.
