finely painted with panels of a river scene and a roadside scene, separated by small flower sprigs, the cover similarly painted with two vignettes of merchants and their wares by a quayside, surmounted with a strawberry knop, gilt-scroll borders, gilded numeral 49. to both,

Condition

The base section in good condition no damage noted. The cover has some small scattered areas of old flaking spray to the flange.
