oval with stepped flat-dome cover, engraved with a coat of arms with a scrolling floral swag cartouche, hinged lock-plate to front, on four plain scrolling legs, underside initialled S.McD above A*C
Condition
Hallmarks rubbed to side of body partially legible. The marks to cover very worn and lost within armorial which is probably slightly later. Some heavy pitting to section of interior cover. Otherwise good condition for age.
