of bombé form, painted with three vignettes of putti at play, the base and slightly domed cover with similar vignettes, the inside cover with further putti, one dancing naked with a dog, another wrapped in a Harlequin sheet, the interior burnished gilt, the mounts with reeded borders and a shell thumbpiece,
