- Silver
realistically modelled with black and red glass eyes, the cover opening to reveal inner liner and mustard spoon with twisted stem and mouse terminal, stamped 6945, 8.2cm., 3 1/4 in. high, together with a Victorian silver and parcel-gilt novelty owl pepper pot, standing, realistically modelled with black and red glass eyes, pierced cover, Charles & George Fox, London, 1853, 8cm., 3 1/8 in. high
Condition
The mustard pot with rubbed marks to rear of body, traces of lead solder repair to inside at this point. Head a little loose in hinge. The liner is bruised in places and with little split to rim, visible seam. The pepper pot with marks partially lost to tail. Does not sit quite flat on an even surface. Otherwise good gauge and condition.
