Description

the curved horn and oval base carved with masks and scrolls, supported on the back of a faun carrying large fishes, the enamel borders and segments painted with mythological and hunting subjects, the horn terminating in the cast and chased head of a bear, maker's mark, greyhound head town mark

Condition

Iinteresting piece with excellent painting. There is a V shaped flaw on the crystal which looks like a crack but ddoes not go all the way through. Small patch of restoration to enamel near bear's head.
