circular, the lid centred by a green, white and red enamel rosette on a matted ground, translucent purple enamel over a grainy engine-turned ground, within white beaded and laurel leaf enamel borders, the sides and base similarly decorated, maker's mark, date letter, charge and discharge of J-B Fouache

overall good condition apart from minor losses to enamel on sides, lid liner dented - probably a replacement?
