in the form of a shell, wavy gold mounts, later French control mark, 3.8cm., 1 ½ in. wide; and a gilt-metal and translucent agate snuff box, probably German, circa 1780, rectangular with elliptical ends, 8.5cm., 3 3/8 in. wide
