Description
La Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion 2008
Talence (Pessac-Léognan)
56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc. 36% new oak. In 2013, a very 'classic' nose, of breed and restraint. A whiff of cigars. Glorious blackcurrant and leather taste. Great balance of fruit, acidity and tannin. Notes of raspberry and woodsmoke. At the end, it is even unctuous. And then the coffee. Very attractive indeed, product of brilliant, and sacrificial, selection. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
