84% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc, 2% Cabernet Sauvignon. Lovely, classic, slightly smoky nose with great, frank fruit. Incredible complexity on the palate, so sweet, finishing on violet creams. Utterly alluring and flattering, but a big wine behind this, with the freshness totally disguising the alcohol. In 2012, it was almost 'salty', tannic and incisive. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
