Pauillac, 5ème Cru Classé
60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot, 1% Carmenère. Immediate class on the nose, with really inky crème de cassis. Volume, vanilla and glycerol on the palate. So very juicy and luscious. Will be a wine where one just has to have another glass. In 2016, a lovely cassis nose and very good minty fruit on the palate - a real pleasure. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
