Very slightly worn original box
In 2012, a wonderful nose of mandarin orange zests, with a touch of melon - un grand depart! So 'winey' on the palate, with great vinosity and shape. This is monumental Krug and, incidentally, the last year when Paul Krug was part of the tasting team - this pays a last tribute to him. Seamless fruit. I wonder whether it has some similarity with the legendary 1928 at the same age - we can only surmise, but it would be logical given the structure. Keep on checking! Serena Sutcliffe, MW
