St. Estèphe, 3ème Cru Classé
90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot. For the first time here, 100% new wood. The Cabernet Sauvignon was so ripe this year, while the Merlot had high alcohol, hence the high percentage of the former. In 2013, a great 'maritime' nose and a stunning 'salty/sweet' taste - I love this individuality. So perfumed all through, with beautiful polished tannins. This oozes black fruit.
