The five-strand necklace, composed of natural and cultured pearls in various hues, accented by two openwork plaques set with baguette and round diamonds, accented by calibré-cut emeralds and citrines, the clasp centering a white round pearl, flanked by two old European-cut diamonds, length 27½ inches, mounted in platinum and gold.

Condition

In good condition. The pearls of varying hues exhibit good luster and smooth skins. The diamonds weigh approximately 2.50 - 3.00 carats. They are approximately I-J color, VS clarity. The emeralds are medium green and slightly included and the citrines are deep yellow and eye-clean. The two gem-set plaques used to be brooches. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 87271 stating that the pearls are a mixture of natural saltwater pearls and cultured saltwater pearls, a sampling with no indication of color modification.
