Emerald and Diamond Ring

Centering an emerald-cut emerald weighing 1.03 carats, flanked by two half moon-shaped diamonds, the mounting further set with single-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, size 7, signed Tiffany & Co.

In fair to good condition due to some signs of wear to the platinum and the shank is slightly out-of-round, commensurate with wear. A very small crack to the metal, but the piece is intact and stable. The emerald is a nicely saturated medium very slightly bluish green and slightly included. The side diamonds and smaller diamonds range from approximately G-H color, predominantly VS clarity. The weight of the emerald is approximately 1.00-1.05 carats, and the two half-moon shaped diamonds weigh approximately 0.50 carat. Signed Tiffany & Co. on inner shank. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 71635 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with no indications of clarity enhancement. Please note that although signed Tiffany & Co., we cannot guarantee the authorship of this piece nor that it was made circa 1915 as stated in the printed catalogue.
