Composed of variously-shaped emerald cabochons, set at intervals with diamond-set links, the reverse of one link engraved 'D.C. October 21, 1950' with another link engraved, 'S.S. C.D. October 21, 1950,' length 6 7/8 inches each, one bracelet signed Seaman Schepps; circa 1950.
Condition
In good condition. The emerald cabochons are medium green and they range in transparency and clarity from semi-transparent to semi-translucent, from moderately to heavily included. Many of the cabochons exhibit surface reaching inclusions which is typical of this type of material and one of the cushion-shaped cabochons exhibits a moderate chip to the side of the stone. The old mine-cut diamonds are approximately H-J color, SI clarity. They weigh a total of approximately 1.95 carats. The bracelets are extremely flexible. Please note that the white metal is platinum and not white gold as stated in the printed catalogue
