Sapphire and diamond necklace, late 19th century

Claw-set with alternating circular-cut sapphires and diamonds, can be worn as a necklace measuring approximately 375mm, or two separate bracelets measuring approximately 150mm each, with an additional extension measuring approximately 80mm.

Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no. 12908, stating that the sapphires show no evidence of heat treatment. Sapphires weighing a total of approximately 25.00-30.00 carats, medium to dark blue, transparent, typical inclusions visible under magnification, abrasions and minor consistent with wear. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 20.00-25.00 carats, estimated colour H-J, estimated clarity SI-I-included on average. Secure clasps. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. In good condition.
