One designed as a mabé pearl measuring approximately 15.2 x 9.5mm to a bar brooch, the other set with two natural and one cultured pearl to a heart-shaped motif set with cushion-shaped diamonds.
Condition
Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no. 13011, stating that the two end pearls in the pearl and diamond brooch were found to be natural, saltwater, and the central pearl was found to be cultured.
The largest pearl of button shape, glue visible to the back, white colour with strong green and rose overtones, medium lustre, some light pitting to nacre. The smaller three pearls of slightly irregular round shape, cream body colour, two with high lustre, the central of medium lustre, all three with strong green and rose overtones, slight pitting to the nacre on all, flat backs and drill hole, glue visible to the back of each, each measuring approximately 7.0x7.2mm. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.00-1.50 carats, mixed colours and clarities. Secure pins. In good condition.
