  • 18 carat gold, diamond, cultured pearl (pinctada martensii)
Designed as a spray of oak leaves and acorns, two leaves and cups pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds of various yellow and of near colourless tints, the acorns set with cultured pearls, signed René Boivin, French assay marks, fitted case stamped René Boivin.

Condition

Please note that the diamonds have not been tested for natural colour origin. French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Signed René Boivin. Diamonds bright and lively, of varied yellow, orange, brown and near colourless tints, estimated total diamond weight approximately 6.00 - 8.00 carats. Two of the leaves and the three acorns all articulated. Cultured pearls of white/cream body colour with rosé and green overtones, tapered ovoid shape, very light scratches, slight banding and minor pitting to nacre. Some areas of light tarnish, and light scratches to metal surface consistent with wear. Secure brooch fittings. In very good condition. Total weight approximately 109 grams, brooch measuring approximately 85 x 80 x 30mm.
