Description

Of woven mesh design, the frame set with single-cut diamonds, suspending sapphire drops with rose diamond caps, the later clasp set with brilliant-cut diamonds and circular-cut sapphires, numbered, several diamonds deficient, one sapphire deficient, gross weight approximately 294 grams.

Condition

Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, numbered MD86392. Sapphires of medium blue, well matched, typical inclusions visible under magnification, some chips and abrasion to pear shaped drops. Diamonds bright and lively. Solder visible to later added clasp. Glue visible on sapphire drops. At least three diamonds deficient and one sapphire. Mesh in good condition. Secure clasp. Abrasions consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
