Collet-set with a cushion-shaped ruby weighing 2.50 carats, size F1/2.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 88859, stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heat treatment, the colour of this ruby may also be called 'pigeon blood red' based on SSEF reference standards. Accompanied by The Gemmological Certification Services report no. 5776-5372, stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heat treatment. Ruby weighing 2.50 carats, ruby deep reddish/purple, transparent, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, light abrasions consistent with wear, some small surface reaching pits to the reverse. Scratches to metal consistent with wear, collet setting abraded and would benefit from being remounted. In good condition.
